Documents and stories of foreign Jewish refugees from concentration camps who found shelter in Venice.
Exhibition “Games and Toys. Travelling Companions, 1943-45”
Toys were often the only link with the homes from which the children were torn to embark on journeys of salvation or of extermination.
The experiences of certain children between 1943 and 1945 are narrated by the voices of their toys.
